News: Clear Horizons Defeated

The Clear Horizons & Emissions Codification Act SB 18, which would have codified statewide greenhouse gas reduction targets into statute, was successfully defeated on the Senate floor this week, ending its progress for the 2026 session. The Chamber opposed this measure.
